TEAMtalk 17 November 2022
Thu 17 Nov 2022As Christmas nears, there's an increasing anxiety about the cost of Christmas at a time when the cost of living is spiralling upwards. The time of giving is increasingly about a time of wondering if we can afford to give anything.
Members of the Central TEAM and Principals met on Tuesday morning to develop a Trust-wide approach. All schools are currently doing something but we know that we can do much more if we all work together.
The Trust is reviewing increasing costs (heating and light costs are rocketing upwards) whilst salary rises must be met, the cost of food and learning materials is ever-increasing and it's important not to lose sight of the needs of the children in our schools and the staff who support them.

TEAMtalk 4 November 2022
Fri 04 Nov 2022The start of the new term has been a pleasure. It has been wonderful to work alongside so many colleagues who are focused on excellent teaching and learning practice.
The school competitions are drawing to a close and I've seen some magnificent entries which demonstrate pride in student work and a commitment to creating a wonderful learning environment. The Central Team have been out and about supporting with workshops, coaching sessions and providing support where needed.
We have many exciting projects nearing completion with the plans for the launch of the new Stubbin Wood Mansfield site now taking shape. If you happen to be near Stubbin Wood's main site, you will see the new Awe & Wonder Room rising from the ground. The emerging new facility is going to be very exciting!
Next week's Harry Potter Day hosted by Stubbin Wood promises to be tremendous fun and a great demonstration that learning doesn't always need to be in a classroom - wizardry is afoot!
