The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be directly responsible to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is the Accounting Officer for The T.E.A.M Education Trust. The CFO will provide advice on strategic financial issues and be responsible for the setting up of and delivery of the Trust’s financial management. The CFO is a key member of the Trust’s leadership team with the opportunity to make your mark on the direction of the Trust.
The CFO is expected to bring a modern, business-like approach to the leadership of the finance function within our education setting. The Trust should be run as a highly competent and efficient service with an emphasis on business partnerships across the Trust and with devolution of the service where appropriate. The appointee will develop and deliver a proactive, customer-focused service.
The CFO is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including the management of financial records, budget control, financial planning (strategic and operational), funding relationships with the funding body and other agencies and related contractual arrangements with external financial organisations.
The CFO will contribute to strategy and policy development to support the Trust’s aims and objectives, will ensure the provision of management information for the Trust’s planning and monitoring systems.

RECEPTION COORDINATOR, Stubbin Wood School

This is a wonderful opportunity for a rewarding and fulfilling role providing a warm and efficient welcome to our special school located in the heart of Shirebrook.
Our Reception Coordinator is the first face and voice that students, parents and visitors to our school will encounter. The post holder is responsible for the answering of calls, welcoming guests, managing messages and email responses as well as ensuring an efficient and effective Reception service in addition to giving support to the wider administration and operational functions of the school.

Business Officer, Whaley Thorns Primary School & Nursery
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Business Officer to join our hardworking, dedicated and friendly team. The post is to commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Principal to administer the business function of the school.
The successful candidate must -
- have experience of working within a school environment;
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- be organised, enthusiastic and determined to succeed;
- have an understanding of school finances, HR procedures and health and safety within a school;
- be confident when speaking with parents and carers;
- enjoy working collaboratively;
- be able to work flexibility and prioritise jobs;
- have a willingness to be part of the team and take on additional responsibilities which are not necessarily part of the role e.g. driving the mini-bus.
