Each year at school, students will have the opportunity to hear from employers about the world of work and the skills required. This is offered predominantly through workplace visits and at the annual careers fair. We also bring in employer speakers from a range of industries and offer students the opportunity to take part in employer-supported projects, including Big Challenge.

Our network of employers is extensive. We work with employers to provide support and encounters to our pupils constantly.

We work directly with SISK construction, who provide us with an enterprise advisor. Kelly Sowden engages our pupils with workshops and workplace visits. Kelly also supports school with applications, CV’s, preparation for interviews and mock interview practice.
