Intended outcomes

Improved attendance of PP pupils - attendance figures show progress towards the school’s 80% target. Pupil Voice indicates that pupils feel happy and safe enough to attend school regularly.
Pupils work collaboratively in teams and with staff by communicating appropriately - social communication and emotional regulation skills are developed through Forest School, and other off-site opportunities that enable them the opportunity to access low-pressure opportunities to develop these skills. These skills will be transferred back into the classroom and other learning environments and evidenced by a decreased number of negative behaviour logs.
Barriers to social interaction and learning are addressed - pupils are able to form constructive and healthy relationships. Learning walks and pupil's voice indicates that relationships are positive and healthy.
Improve student confidence to increase opportunities for greater learning - pupils demonstrate greater resilience towards their learning as shown through meeting their pathway targets based on individual needs.
Improvement in relationships and resilience through interventions and additional activities - increase in developmental progress on Boxall assessments. Reduced level of RPI. Decrease in negative behaviour logs

Primary PE Premium Spending 25-26

The table below shows the ways in which Willow Park School used the money granted by the government to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport and physical activity it offers.

The total amount received was - £16,240.

9 Size 3 Forza indoor balls	All Rivelin students	Increased participation in football lessons and improvements in skill levels through having a ball that meets the need.	Students displayed bigger improvements in their skills as shown by more students meeting the success criteria in lessons. Fewer students frustrated in lessons and showing full participation in lessons due to the football being the right size for them.	£102
Boxing Sessions at Riley’s Gym- Introductory sessions for all Rivelin pupils focusing on technique and ability to stay regulated during boxing.	All students across Rivelin (Y6 and below). We will take one class at a time; each class will have two lessons.	Students engaged in the session and able to stay regulated during boxing. An adaptive outlet for students' negative thoughts/feelings- providing the students a cathartic experience.	Students loved the sessions; many have gone on to look at starting boxing outside of school time. Students bonded with one another during the sessions, the sessions had a profound positive effect on their mental health, social development and emotional development. Due to high levels of student engagement and enjoyment, we are looking to continue these sessions next term. Without this funding we would not be able to run these sessions and thus our students wouldn’t be receiving these cathartic experiences or develop the social/emotional skills they need to function within society. It also helps us achieve the active 30 initiative.	£40 a session x 5 sessions. £200
Boxing Sessions at Riley’s	All students across Rivelin (Y6 and below). We will take one class at a time; each class will have at least one lesson.	Students to work on the British value of respect and tolerance through the medium of boxing	Students in Rivelin have been asking me continuously to restart the boxing sessions for them as they enjoyed them so much last time. Over 5 students have subsequently begun attending boxing sessions at Riley's outside of school time.	£40 a session for 24 weeks = £960
Forza 8ft x 6ft football goals x 2	All Rivelin students	Students have nets which are appropriate for their size. This will allow keepers a better chance of saving the ball and create more balanced games. It will help students improve their shot accuracy	More students are playing football at break times using the nets which have been bought. More students have been volunteering to go in net during lessons as they have a higher chance of saving the ball.	£78.99 per net x2 = £157.98
Molten GR BG2000 Basketballs Size 5	All Rivelin students	Increased participation in basketball lessons and improvements in skill levels through having a ball that meets needs.	Fewer students had injuries while stubbing their fingers due to trying to catch a ball too big for them. This improved their perception of basketball and led to a higher participation rate in basketball PE lessons.	£189.50
Football pitch Hire	Students in school football team	Students are able to play high quality football matches against other schools. This will lead to improvements in SEMH outcomes around emotional resilience and teamwork.	Students really enjoyed the games and showed great teamwork and resilience.	£25 a game x 2 = £50
Football pitch Hire (Leisure United at 3 Stadium Way)	All students who want to participate in extracurricular sessions.	Students are able to train, and play inter school matches on a fantastic surface. This will lead to big improvements in footballing ability and socio-emotional parameters.	Students have come on massively in terms of footballing ability and are more accepting of winning and losing.	£25 x 30 = £750
Swimming Sessions (Hillsborough)	All students who want to engage.	Develop students' swimming ability and improve their water confidence.	Students have become much more confident around water and are beginning to have the confidence to swim in deeper waters.	£421.50
