Fri 22 Mar 2024I hope you all have managed to spring into action and have been taking part in the March wellbeing challenge. TEAMparent Easter 2024
Fri 22 Mar 2024We have had a number of exciting parent events over the last half term across TEAM Education Trust schools. We’ve been working closely with the YMCA who have been running the Multiply Project and we were fortunate enough to host an event during February half term where we welcomed families from across all schools. The Multiply Project has been a real success for those who have taken part. The feedback from parents and family members has been positive; many have found learning how to improve their maths skills in a relaxed and supportive environment of great value.
With the nights getting lighter, the weather improving and the Easter break not too far away, we wish you and your family a restful break and look forward to seeing you next term.

TEAMtalk 22 March 2024
Fri 22 Mar 2024We started the Spring Term by launching straight into several events from across the schools, including parents’ evenings, safer internet day, Number Day, Valentine’s day, a residential trip to London, followed by Lea Green and finishing in Amsterdam, World Book Day, Mother’s Day lunch plus many more! We’ve also had TEAM events including Trust Champions days, health and safety learning walks, Strategy and Impact days for the Central Team, training for the Leadership Teams on the CofE Vision for Education in shaping the Curriculum, Effective Attendance with Wayne Harris for our schools and associate schools, together with No outsiders – everyone’s different CPLD training. Along with Triumph Trust we held the National SEND & Inclusion conference, which was a huge success and most recently we held our ‘Out of this World’ pupil collaboration event. I’m sure you will join me in agreeing that lots has happened across our Trust.

TEAMtalk 8 March 2024
Fri 08 Mar 2024Thank you to everyone that attended the CEO Chat earlier this week, we have provided a summary of what was discussed on page 3.
As an avid reader myself, World Book Day is one of my favourite times of year, it’s great to share in each others love of reading, learn about other peoples favourite books and I always discover a new book to read.
Over the last few weeks I have had the privilege to visit our schools and engage in insightful meetings, and witnessing firsthand the incredible work being done by our staff. I have also had the pleasure of visiting special schools in Bradford in my Trustee role, and enjoyed being able to see parallels with our lead school Stubbin Wood.
Next Wednesday we are hosting a SEND Conference with a total of 175 delegates set to attend and multiple workshops with different focuses, I am looking forward to sharing what we learn, and thank you in advance to everyone who has helped organise the event.
On 20 March it is our next Student Collaboration Day and it’s going to be Out of this World! Staff members from the Central Team and Stubbin Wood have been working incredibly hard on the decorations and organisation of this event. We can’t wait to see it come to fruition!
Yesterday members of Central TEAM attended the National MAT Awards and I am so pleased to announce that TEAM Education Trust has won The Inclusion Award. Thank you to everyone, for your dedication to this cause.

TEAMwellbeing 1 March 2024
Fri 01 Mar 2024As Spring is nearly upon us, I for one have started to feel the benefits already, with lighter mornings and evenings already brightening my day. Since September 2023, we have been undertaking a monthly wellbeing challenge to try and encourage us all to participate in taking positive steps in enhancing our own positive mindset, changing our habits and building our resilience. If you’ve not managed to take part in the challenges, now is the time to make use of the lighter mornings and evenings and spring into action! This months challenge is all about revisiting what we have been doing since September. We reinforce and repeat learning to our pupils, so I thought it would be good to encourage you to engage in some of the activities we have done so far, or maybe something you didn’t quite get around to doing.

TEAMstudent 16 February 2024
Fri 16 Feb 2024Hello again, I hope you have all had a good week. Time seems to have flown by and some of our schools have already started their half term break. It’s nice to see that the evenings are getting lighter and not quite as dark now, and we are starting to get a feeling that spring will soon be on its way!
Over the half term, I know that I will be enjoying pancakes! Do you know what my favourite topping is? I enjoy strawberries and cream, but and this one might make you think yuk... I enjoy a cheese and marmite pancake! I would be interested to hear about your favourite topping or how many you have managed to eat...

TEAMtalk 16 February 2024
Fri 16 Feb 2024As we bid farewell to the first half term of 2024, we are thrilled to share the latest happenings from our schools and the variety of experiences that have enriched our school communities. Throughout these past few months, we’ve weathered literal storms and managed a number of projects to develop our projects at Stubbin Wood This term has been marked by resilience, growth and memorable moments. One highlight was our highly positive Trustee and Member Joint Strategy Day, where innovative ideas and collaborative strategies took centre stage, propelling us forward on our journey of educational excellence.

TEAMwellbeing February 2024
Fri 02 Feb 2024Our daily lives are always so busy, and it’s not always easy to make changes, with time being the key reason as why our habits remain the same. We all seem to share that sentiment.
However, it is important that we do prioritise ourselves and make sure we are looking ourselves as much as we do for others. Even the smallest of change can have the biggest impact. So, when reflecting on what you can change, no matter how big or small, make sure it is something that supports you and promotes your own self care and wellbeing.
