It’s always lovely to have a bank holiday, especially now that the sun has found its way to the midlands.

 

The last two weeks have seen more visits to our schools and discussions about developments that need to take shape ready for September. I enjoyed a site visit to our new Secondary Satellite Site and taking part in the ‘Flourishing Leaders’ workshop, looking at staff career professional development opportunities. I had the pleasure of attending the Schools and Academies Show, taking the stage with Dan Morrow from the Dartmoor Trust to talk about ‘sweating our assets’ where l spoke at length about our traded services, and business & community breakfasts.

 

With the date for the next national SEND & Inclusion Conference now set, Matt Morris and l have started to speak with potential exhibitors and practitioners to showcase ‘creative inclusion’ in schools
